We can’t unblurr a blurry picture, but we can add effects to the picture that camouflage the blurriness and make the picture appear much better or make it look purposely blurry.
Return to Photograph Related FAQ ListWhy do you burn to Gold CD’s? Why not the same type we see in the stores?
Gold CD’s are proven to be the most reliable for archiving and long term storage of digital data. DVD’s are the least proven and reliable at this point in time.
Return to Photograph Related FAQ ListCan I use copyrighted pictures or materials in my album?
Yes, if you have a copyright release from the copyright holder, or hold the copyright yourself. With each album we design, we require you to sign a release form stating that you hold the copyright yourself or have obtained copyright release for all photos provided for your album.

If you shot the pictures yourself, then you hold the copyright. If the pictures were shot by a service or another individual, the person/company shooting the pictures holds the copyright to those images.
Return to Photograph Related FAQ ListI am preparing to go on vacation. Is there anything special I should do when taking pictures to get the best vacation memory album?
There are. First and foremost, shoot a variety of things. Don’t limit your shooting to just scenery or people in front of scenery. Shoot both. Great pictures include people doing things, waiting around, involved in activities, scenery, people in the scenery, and most importantly, close ups. Don’t limit your shooting. See our gallery for ideas.
Return to Photograph Related FAQ ListShould I shoot digital or film?
That is up to you. Certainly creating a memory album or scrapbook is much easier (and less expensive) with digital images but there is more to it than that. Digital has advantages and disadvantages. Most importantly, shoot what works for you. If you do shoot digital, try to use at least a 3MP camera minimum. You can always have your images scanned if you shoot film. It costs a little more but many people prefer to stay with what they know works.
Return to Photograph Related FAQ ListDo I send in all of my pictures to make my album, or only the ones that I want used?
It Depends. If they’re digital images, you can send extra so there is a variety to choose from. Identify those photos which you absolutely want included in your album.
With traditional photos, send as many photos as you would like scanned and included in your album.
Trust our designers. They are very talented at choosing the pictures that work together in a layout.
Return to Photograph Related FAQ ListHow do I send in my digital images?
You have a couple of options. If you have a broadband Internet connection or have access to one, they can be uploaded to our web site. If you have dialup and no access to broadband, you can send them on CD via postal mail, UPS or FedEx. We recommend making a second copy of the CD for yourself as a back-up.
Return to Photograph Related FAQ ListCan you improve the quality of my images in any way?
Yes, our designers can generally handle most image improvement requests.
